Brrrr

Holy cow is it cold out this morning!!!!  Temp said 6!!!  The sun is out today, so that helps w/the mood, but I have to admit, I have so many layers on today, I feel like the giant StayFresh Marshmallow Man-lol : )    For Xmas, mom got my fleece-lined tights & guess what, I got them on today, thanks, Mom!!!  Yesterday was a pretty quiet day at work, so nice!  I think people probably thought we were closed, due to being banking affiliated.  It was a nice morning though, I got all my numbers inputted for the end for the end of the year-yeah!!  Hope today is as productive & quiet : )

 

 

 

Better get into my new card, so I can get started on work, or it won't be productive at all : )  Totally love this color combo- the background polka dot pp is Crate Paper, chevron is Simple Stories, red gingham is My Mind's eye.  Got out the trusty Fiskars border punch. The kraft tag is Colorbok, ribbon is Hobby Lobby.

Happy Day

Happy Martin Luther King Day!!  Happy Monday!!!   I'd be sooo much happier if I was off of work today, but I should just be thankful, it's already been a long weekend for me w/Friday off : )  Had a great time w/my girlfriend this weekend, unfortunately I did some "donating" to the casino.   I never, ever, ever win...one of these days, boy do I sound like a "gambler" or what-lol!!  We still had a great time, it's always awesome to see your best friend & so much fun to have "girl talk"-lol!  We ate some great meals- we love the buffets at the casinos : ) 

 I did, of course, find some time for cards this weekend : )  My customers are already talking about Valentine Cards, so thought time to dig into those- I think I now have 4 done : )   The bunny & heart stickers are We R Memory Keepers. Chevron pp is Simple Stories.  Pink pp is Recollection.  The red & turq papers are old, have no clue of the brand.  Used my Fiskars scalloped border.  Stamp is Studio G.  Added some bling & glitter.

My Friday

Yes, it's Thursday, but that means it's my Friday!!!  Yeah!!!  Soooo looking forward to tomorrow w/my girlfriend!!  Yummy food, couple drinks, win some money & enjoy good company, what more could a girl ask for!!!  Keep your fingers crossed for the win money part, I always need some help w/that : )   It is a chilly morning out & suppose to get darn right COLD by the end of the day!!  I wore a blazer to work & brought a winter coat to go over it for the ride home.  I'm always cold, it totally sucks!!! If you have this problem then you completely understand : )  Maybe I just need to move to a tropical island (don't worry mom, I'll take you w/me-she's always cold too-lol)!!


I haven't had my Dr. Pepper yet today, so brain isn't working all the well.  I think the butterfly image is Creative Imaginations.  I also think the pps are My Mind's Eye, from 2 different pads.  If you really need to know, leave me a quick msg & I'll check it out : )  Added some bling & button
and inked all the edges.

Quickie post today- my desk is a mess....that's what I get for leaving early yesterday!!  Had to leave for my fun dentist appointment, but at least that's over & I don't have to go back for almost a month : )  

I had to play w/some more of my new Xmas scrapping goodies on my new card : )  I got sooo much for Xmas it will take me years to use it....remember, I've told you I'm spoiled-lol! 

Used a lot of Simple Stories on this card, the turq. pp & both red polka dot pps & the couple image (too cute).    Can't remember the pink pp- I can see the sheet, but the brand just isn't coming to me.

Okay, we made it through Monday : )  Now gotta make it through today... I'd say it shouldn't be that bad, but I'm back to my weekly dentist appointments-yuk!!!   I'm really we are hoping to be almost done!!  I'm not looking forward to today, as I know what we have to do, but I'm really thinking this will be the last of the really yucky visits.  Positive thinking : )   I'm off from work this Friday, my bet friend is visiting, we are off to the casino Friday night!!  yeah, I'm so looking forward to some "stupid down time", oh yeah & winning some money : )

Better get to my new card & get to working, I can see my voicemail light flashing away.   I used some new Xmas pp on this card, American Crafts, it's a 6x6 pad- love'n it.  The flower & butterfly are from Current.  Used my fav. Martha Stewart grass punch & the Fiskars scallop border.

Monday- why, already?!!

Every notice how fast the weekends go, especially ones when you don't have anything "special" to do?!!  We had a very relaxing weekend, though I did get all the Xmas decorations stored away until next year...I even started getting out some Valentine stuff.....the house needed the "pop" of red after being decorated for Xmas it was looking a bit drab : )  I spent all sorts of time at the scrapping table....If I could only get lots of cards done when I'm there, but I'm pokey & like to enjoy the whole card making process : )  I have the best customer's in the world...my one girlfriend Pam, picked up a  bunch of cards the other day & brought us homemade manicotti-yummy!!!  My other friend, Karen stopped by yesterday & brought me 2 books of pattern paper...you know me, in Heaven w/paper & a gift card to AC Moore.  Too darn sweet, huh?  She did place her order for some cards & tags, too.  I can't believe all the friends I've made through my wonderful hobby, whether it be from craft shows where I've gotten some customers, who have become friends, to sb.com,where I have made some wonderful, life long friends...who would have known : )

I better get to showing you my new card, which I must admit I made a month ago or more.  I need to find time to take some pics of my new cards : )  Anyway, background pp is Crate Paper, green paper is Echo Park (Xmas).  The awesome 3D sticker is K & Company.  Stamp is Fiskars, used the EK Success border punch, added some pearls, inked my edges & done : )

One for the girls lol!!

What a bright sunny morning- totally helps the mood!!  It's suppose to be a beautiful day w/a high near 40...it would be the perfect  day to do some shopping, use those Xmas gift cards & make a couple returns....oh wishful thinking, stuck at work : )  At least I have a little window where I can see the sun-lol.    You should have seen poor Wilson last night, trying to stick to the snow patches outside..he must be getting older, more mature (LOL)...usually he'd be running & jumping in the water/mud.... that'll probably be tonight when there's more mud : )  Besides work, it's been a quiet week, most of my Xmas stuff is put away & I've just been working on cards : )

Speaking of cards......................
It was time for some pink!!  I hate to admit it, but I didn't use one new thing on this card.  The fuzzy bear & moon stickers are super old, they were dollar store finds.  Pink polka dot pp is oooold My Mind's Eye, stripe pp is Crate Paper, yellow paper is Recollection.  I think the little pink stars are Sticko.  Used some rick rack from my stash & as usual, inked all the edges.
