Happy Birthday mom!!

This post is a day late, as yesterday was my wonderful mother's b-day!!  Don't worry I didn't forget yesterday, just didn't have time to post this yesterday!!   She also received her card, so now it's safe to show you , as I know mom is one of my biggest supporters & blog followers (thanks, Mom!)!!

I thought this card perfect for mom w/the bright happy colors!!  Most of this card is Simple Stories- I totally love everything about ALL of thier collections!!  Cheveron pp, yellow polka dot pp, sun sticker, window sticker & border sticker...all Simple Stories!  The red polka dot pp is My Mind's Eye.  Used the Cricut for the mini tag, mini alphas are Cosmo Cricket. Added 2 vintage buttons &inked alllll the edges!

Hello world : )

Yeah- made it through a Monday, now lets tackle Tuesday.....loooong weekend coming up : )  What a pretty morning here- clear skies, bright sunshine & temps near 70- just about perfect : )   This past weekend was great too- a little on the hot side, but for those of that like that, it was great : )  We spent Friday night on the boat & Saturday, it was fun & relaxing.  Mom & I went to a stamping expo on Sunday, it was inspiring.  I must admit we went to AC Moore afterwards & bought more there then at the expo.  Neither mom nor I are big user of stamps for our cards, except sentiment stamps- but you still love to look at all the ideas they have there.  As I was saying, AC Moore- they had some great stuff- all for $1.66 or less, bins full of stickers & rub-ons, I was in heaven : )  Now I just need to find some time to play w/the new stuff.  I did get a couple cards done over the last couple days though, so got a new one for you today................

I've had a thing for baby cards lately : )  Oooold Chevron pp is from my stash, yellow gingham is Hobby Lobby.  Used the Cuttlebug w/the nesties & the Cricut for the circles.  Giraffe sticker is Hobby Lobby, heart rub-ons are old Fiskars.  Not sure where the baby sticker is from.  Ribbon from Joanns.

Happy Day : )

It's another beautiful sunny morning- if only....you know what I'm going to say- so I won't say it : )   Yeah- Friday is almost here & it's suppose to be a perfect summer weekend!!   I think it'll be a busy, yet relaxing weekend...Friday night we are heading to the boat- hope to catch some rays on Saturday & then....yeah, mom & I are going to a Stamp & Scrapbook show : )   Well as usual, my desk is a mess, so I better get to me new card & get to work....

I've had this beaded paisley for a while now, thought I better use it before the beads start falling off-lol...I have no clue where it came from though.  The navy pps are Echo Park, gingham is Hobby Lobby.  Used the Cuttlebug & Nesties for the scalloped ovals, used the Cricut for the plain oval & mini tag & the Marvy corner round.   I inked all the edges added a couple  pearls & button too.

Finally- a Halloween card : )

Happy Tuesday- doesn't that sound better then Monday?!!  Yesterday was a rough work day, I know today can't be half as bad- there's the positive side-lol.  It's a bright sunny morning, though I bit on the brisk side...temp @55..brrr, hate to say it, but you can feel that Fall is around the corner : (   Speaking of Fall, I'm finally working slowly on Halloween cards- what fun!!!!!  I say it all the time, but Halloween is my least fav holiday, but LOVE to make Halloween cards & luckily for me my customers love to send them : )

My awesome (in my opinion) sticker is from Walmart, yup, said Walmart : )  The orange polka dot pp, the off-white lined pp  & the background bat pp are from Girls Paperie- this is one of my ALL time favorite collections- both sides of the papers are so cool & use-able!!  The black pp is from Target's $1 section. Used a Martha Stewart border punch- only have a bit of it sticking up though, reminded me the top of fence.  I think the stamp is Studio G.  All edges are inked, of course-lol!!

FRIDAY!!!

Yeah- made it to Friday..not sure what the week holds, but don't really care, it's the weekend : )  I'm 100% certain my weekend will include some card making : )  I'm behind, I took a couple days off- my  mojo went missing, I think it's trying to come back though- made some cards last night  : )
It's suppose to be kind of chilly around here this weekend, so perfect for card making.

I never seem to have enough b-day cards....every time I get a stash going, my customer's call- not a bad thing.  chipboard from Cosmo Cricket.  Used the Cuttlebug, Nestie, Provo Craft embossing folder, Marvy corner round & Fiskars punch.  Ribbon is American Crafts, stamp is Hero Arts.  Button & gems from my stash.

Where is Friday?!!

It sooo feels like today should be Friday...wishful thinking, though I really don't want to wish my life away- just the work hours : )  Actually work hasn't been that bad this week, the report is done & I've actually got a couple loans closing this week-yeah, that is what they pay me for, but the job was a lot easier a couple years ago....I won't even get into all that-yuk!!  Today is suppose to be another beautiful summer day here, high in the low 80s w/bright sunshine-it's suppose to chill down a bit this weekend : (   

I had no girl baby cards in my stash- I tend to lean towards baby boy cards, not really sure why, as I love to use pink : )  background pp is old My Mind's Eye, the bright pink pp is My Mind's Eye also.  The white/gray pp is Echo Park.  Used the Cuttlebug w/Provo Craft embossing folder & nesties, also used the Marvy corner round again. The chipboard sticker is a dollar store find. Vintage seam binding given to me by a wonderful friend, who passed away this year- she gave me a whole supply of ribbon, seam binding & buttons... I think of her every time I go through that stuff- thanks, Carol!!  As usual, I inked all the edges, added a couple buttons & done.   I make is sound so easy for me, but must admit cards take me hours- not complaining- I love the whole process!!!  Well time for work people- Have a great day!!  TFL  Lynn

Make you smile

The sun is out this morning, yeah- that does sooo much for my mood : )  It's suppose to be a beautiful summer day & lucky me stuck at work...oh well, at least it's a paycheck!!   I have to admit I've been lazy w/my cards the last couple days....some times it's just nice to relax w/a good book, good company and/or a good tv show- had all 3 of those last night!!  Lucky for me, I made a bunch of cards over the weekend, so still have a new one to show you........

my brain is totally not working yet this morning, as I'm drawing a total blank on all the brands I used here- yikes, need my Dr. Pepper : )   If you want to know any of the items I used here, feel free to contact me- hopefully by then my brain will be working or I can look it up : )
