Happy President's Day

I had a nice looong weekend, but do wish it was one day longer....for those of you off today, have a great day!!!  I am already at work & ready to start my fun day.  I'm hoping to get my work done & get out of here, only a couple of lenders are open today anyways.  We had a very enjoyable & relaxing weekend.  Actually, Saturday we ran to Home Depot and bought a new vanity for our down stairs bathroom.  We originally redid the bathroom when we bought & moved into the house...it really is a pretty little bathroom, but it is mostly white...can't do white anymore, it's constantly getting dirty, especially w/our pooch, Wilson : )  We got a cherry wood vanity w/matching mirror  & brushed bronzed faucet & light..oh, can't wait to get started on our redo, unfortunately that won't be for a month or so.  I do need to figure out a new paint color though, don't worry I'll keep you posted : )  

I of course found time for cards this weekend too, my weekend wouldn't be complete w/out a lot of time around the scrapping table : )

I had a friend ask me for some Sympathy cards the other day, so was working on them this weekend.  I really like the way this card turned out, I have a tendency to use blues & browns alot on sympathy cards, so yellow is a pleasant change for me & I find this card to be very uplifting yet soothing.  The butterflies & border are rub-ons from American Crafts.  The yellow background pp & all the turq pp are from an old DCWV stack & the border punch is a Martha Stewart.
