Quick post today.....so much fun awaiting me at work : ) Remember that lovely report I speak of occasionally, well it's that time again, it's due Feb 15th-yuk!!! Yesterday was my honey's b-day, so we went out for a nice dinner w/his mom & then relaxed at home...b-day's just aren't what they used to be, but at least there are presents involved : ) My honey is soooo hard to buy for...doesn't ever need any more clothes, though I keep buying them for him...doesn't really have a hobby & already has allll the electronic toys. I ended up getting him this funky mirror in the shape of a guitar : ) He has quite a few guitars, a banjo, bunch of drums, he likes music...I call our one spare bedroom "the music room", can you guess where the new guitar mirror is going : )
I did make my honey a special card, just haven't taken a pic of it yet : )
This card did not go as planned for me....it worked in my head : ) I must have changed the design on this & cut up pps a hundred times just to get it to look like this. Definitely not my most favorite card, but they all can't be : ) I do like the summer feel to this card though. My kite sticker is from DCWV. I used my new LifeStyle scalloped die. The yellow pp for the clouds is SEI & sorry don't remember the rest of the pps.
If you ever want to know something on a card or anything else for that matter, please feel free to email me at lcards2009@yahoo.com.
Well time to get to working! Have a great Tuesday! TFL Lynn
Hey sweetie!! I'm glad you and your hubby had fun for his birthday. A nice dinner sounds fabulous. I'm so jealous of the guitar mirror! That would be perfect for my hubby, too. He has a few electric guitars and an electric base guitar. I know what you mean about them being hard to buy for. Wy and I pretty much don't do birthday presents for each other, we just go out to a nice dinner. I think your card is lovely! It's very summery and cheery, destined to make someone feel better. =D Those clouds are adorable.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your report!! Don't let it stress you out too much. Tomorrow's my Friday (we leave for the retreat on Thursday) so if I don't "see" you tomorrow, have a great weekend! I'll be back on Tuesday! =D
Hope your hubby had a wonderful birthday. I don't know what you had in mind for this card but it turned out awesome! Love all the layers and all the pretty patterned paper. A perfect card to cheer up someone that is under the weather.
