Sunny Thursday

Yeah, it's a bright sunny morning & the high for the day is 70+....woohoo!!!  Now I just need to get through work so I can get out of here & enjoy some of it!!  Again, the weekend is suppose to be gorgeous : )    I can't believe it's already Jun 7th- where does the time go?!!! 

I think my new card is pretty "summery"- it's the strawberry image, it's by Heartwarming Vintage Images.  The red background pp is Crate Paper, as is the measuring tape pp. The stripe pp is from  Hobby Lobby (this is my new favorite piece of paper & I'm going to buy more-lol).  Lace is from Wilton.  I inked all the edges & then used my Tim Holtz distresser.  Used some buttons from my stash.


I have made sooo many wonderful friends from my card making hobby.  When I started, I was doing layouts...then I found scrapbook.com & started doing cards...  everybody on that site is sooo talented & sooo friendly!!  Anyways, through scrapbook.com I have found some great people & some I know I will be friends with for life-they are true treasures!!!  One of my wonderful friends from there (actually she's from Australia-lol), Vija, she has a beautiful Golden retriever, Kobe & Kobe was diagnosed w/cancer.....please keep Kobe & Vija & family in your prayers!!
