Can you believe Xmas is next week?!

Oh holy, hustle bustle....I can't believe Xmas is next week already.    I'm still working hard on my Xmas cards, I think I have @ 13 more to make.....I will get them done, they may not make it to the recipient until after Xmas, but I can guarantee they will be in the mail before Xmas : )  It seems like every year I'm more & more behind.  I am just about done w/Xmas shopping & wrapping thought-woohoo!!!!     I'm hoping for a nice calm week at work, but I know that won't happen.  My boss is "high strung" to begin with, so that reflects on the job......drives me stick'n NUTS!!!  Sorry, just had to vent...keep your fingers crossed for a good week.  We do have our office Xmas party on Friday afternoon, so I am looking forward to that & we are closed on Xmas Eve- double WOOHOO!!!!!   Well better get on to my new card & start working.....

My awesome mother bought me My Mind's Eye Xmas 6x6 pad of paper & then I had to buy one also-lol.  I actually used both pads of paper on this card.  Used EK Success border punch, inked all my edges.  The stamp is Inky Antics.  Can't remember the brand on the image, but I can see the 12x12 sheet of paper.  Added a fun button & string of red pearls & done.

Have a great week!!  TFL  Lynn

TGIF!!!!

I bet you thought I got lost...I kind of feel like I did-lol.  It has been a busy busy week!!  I had a lot of card orders that had to be done this week & that is always a process....it's not the making cards part, it's the photographing them & packaging them up that seems to take up my time : )   One more order of 4 cards to make & then I'm officially moving on to our Xmas cards...I know way late, but they will get done : )    Hard to imagine that after those, I'll  be moving onto Valentine cards...did you ever notice how far ahead of the game you have to be when making /selling cards.   I'm looking forward to this weekend, though it will be another busy one....I'm not done Xmas shopping yet, but I'm a lot farther along then before.    I do have a Xmas card to show you today-yeah.   My computer has been naughty all week & not reading my camera's memory sticks, so I didn't have anything new I could show you either....but I do today : )

I have to admit, I've  used a lot of blue & reds on Xmas cards this year, but soooo love the traditional red & green : )  My sparkly bell sticker is Hobby Lobby.  Used a journal tag from Echo Park.   Not sure of the brand on any of the papers...Dr. Pepper hasn't kicked in yet-lol.

Have a great weekend!!  TFL  Lynn

The sun is out & it's going to be a good day....

Happy Thursday!!  It's a bit chilly out this morning, but there is a big bright sun- that always helps!!!   I've been busting my butt on Xmas cards this week, every night I dive into all my Xmas goodies....sounds awful, doesn't it-lol.    I unfortunately don't have a Xmas card to show you today though.....I made this card last week, I wanted to have more then just Xmas cards at the craft show, this was one I did for that.

The bird image is K & Company.  The background pp is Hobby Lobby, the stripe pp is old My Mind's Eye.  Can't remember the swirl brand, but if you need to know, let me know-lol.  Added buttons & bling & of course, inked all the edges.

Sorry for the super short post today, but off to try to get some more continue education done before my boss gets here & makes me do his work-lol.  Happy Thursday!!  Thanks for stopping by!!  Lynn

Yeah- A Xmas card

Hello all....hope you are having a great week...had to  believe Xmas is less then 3 weeks away.  I have to admit this Santa is behind on my Xmas list.  I really really need to get shopping : )   As of yesterday, I have 2 things crossed off me list : )   I'm still working on Xmas cards.  I have a couple orders to fill & then I'll be able to move on to my own Xmas cards.  Mom & I had a good craft show this past Sunday.  This is our 3rd year doing them & it's funny to realize we have a small following of people who buy from us every year- makes me smile : )

Better get to my new card & get to working....

I am 100% in love w/the plaid pp, it's Recollection.   The green pp is Anna Griffin.  The notebook pp is the last of this piece for me, very sad-love this line by Girl's Paperi.  Used the EK Success large scallop border punch.  The awesome chipboard houses are from Martha Stewart.  I  must admit, I love her stuff, but boy is it expensive.  Stamp is Hero Arts.

TFL!!  Have a great day- half way to the weekend!!!!  Lynn
