A quick post

What a busy week I've had so far w/work, really haven't had as much down time as I thought we would : ( At least at home things have been calm, so I've gotten some quality card making in w/some of my new supplies. Santa was soooooo good to me. Actually I have to admit there were a couple Santas that were very good to me. If I had any self control I wouldn't shop for scrapping supplies for a year....if I had any-lol. I hope Xmas was good to everyone. We had a very nice one, saw lots of family, ate lots of food & got lots of presents (spoiled, we are).

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I promised another post before the holidays, this is it -lol!! What a busy busy week, though I will admit, I did find time to make 1 card last night, i think I was going through withdrawls-lol. I know it will be quite a few more days now till I'm back at the scrapping table, but ohhhh I hope to have lots of new goodies to play with. I feel like a little kid, but I guess that is the magic of Christmas!!

Even though I did get a card made last night, I never had time to take a picture of it, so I've got no card to show today : ( Really I just wanted to make sure to get Christmas wishes out to all of you. For anyone who has lost someone special this year, I hope you are surrounded by family & friends this Christmas & may they help you to celebrate the memories of your loved one!! May all of you have a safe & Very Merry & Blessed Christmas!!! Lynn

Tis the Season

Can you believe we are 5 days away from Xmas??? I apologize for being such a bad blogger, but I'm just behind in my Xmas stuff, so as I've said before my blog is last on my list. Sorry everyone, but I know you know how hectic life can get. I just finished the last of my Xmas cards last night- YEAH!!!!! I work across from the post office, so I was going to stop there on my way to work, but holy cow- the cars were out the driveway. I can see it from my window, so when the line goes down, I'm going to run accross the street & mail them...they will be in the mail before noon!!!!!! Then I can cross that off my list. I have to say mom & I got ALOT of shopping done this weekend, thank goodness. There were some great sales out there. I must admit we did go to JoAnn's and look at the scrapping goodies- what would I shopping trip be w/out that-lol!!!!!
I even got quite a few of my gifts wrapped yesterday too...I was on a role. I'm not a big fan of wrapping presents, but gotta do it-lol.

Another new xmas card to show you today, of course : ) I did leave my list of products at home, so can't give credit where credit is due, but to be honest w/you....all the pps on this card were left over pieces from last year & the chipboard ornament was a to/from tag...I cut out a circle, stamped it & covered the to/from.

I hope everyone has a great day... I promise to post at least one more blog before the Holiday. TFL Lynn

Another cooold snowy day here

I know tis the season, but man this snow is getting to be a bit much- it took me over an hour to get to work today, normal is 20minutes. Thank goodness I work for a good company that is understanding about things like that : ) My poor honey got called in to plow last night at 9pm, came home at 2am & is back to work for his normal shift now. If this snow keeps up I'm sure he'll be working late tonight : ( I am still making my Xmas cards. I did get some mailed out yesterday though. The post office was a MAD house & I'm sure it will be today, I'm going back to mail some more cards. I like to have them hand stamped, plus a lot of them cost extra postage : (

I'm just love'n my new card, it's all the glitter & gold!!! I'm a big fan of these K & Company chipboards!!

TGIF!!!! TGIF!!!

Oh yeah, the weekend is only 8 hours away for me- yea!!!! I've got all sorts of things I need to do this weekend, tis the season : ) I'm still working away on my xmas cards. My customer is coming over tonight to get her Xmas cards & then I just need to finish mine up & get them mailed. Holy cow, am I cutting it close this year?! It's better then last year though, I think I only sent out 4 Xmas cards. Time just has a way of getting away from you, especially this time of year.

I realized that I haven't given a Wilson update in a while. Our little guy is now 8+ months old. We had him neutered not to long ago & his recovery from that was about 1 day-lol. There isn't much that keeps Wilson down, he's very spirited & like most dogs, is afraid of missing out on anything. Though he can be a "wild child", he loves to cuddle, especially at night. He waits for us to fall asleep & then climbs into bed w/us-lol. We are still working on many things w/him, but he really has gotten sooo much better. Our new learning lesson is to "sit" & STAY". We've had the "sit" for a while, it's the staying-lol.......................

OOOHHHH, LOOK AT MY GOOD BOY!!!!!! For those that know Wilson, this is a feat in itself-lol. He really doesn't like to sit still. You better believe I had a handful of treats, but we have to start somewheres! Every year I would take a picture of my beautiful Damien w/our Xmas tree....I never imagined last year would be the last w/him. Well, our tradition lives on now through my good boy Wilson. YEA-LOOK AT HIM SITTING THERE, SO HANDSOME!!! (My Damien would be proud-lol)

Well of course, after that, my new card has to be Xmas. Hope you enjoy!!

Brrrrr

Holy cow is it cooooold out today- temp is 11 degrees- brrrrrrrrr. At least it's not snowing & there is NO snow in the forecast for the day, plus the sun is out. I'm working away on my xmas cards at night, really need to have them done & out the door soon, wouldn't you say. I'm so behind this year. I just really started my shopping last weekend. I've been trying to get a little bit done at a time this week. I've stopped at a store on my way home everyday this week & plan on doing that today to. Hobby Lobby here I come, no not for presents for me-lol. Though I'm sure 1 or 2 things will jump in the cart, they always do. I love shopping/buying scrapping goodies as much as I love playing w/them-lol.

Hope you enjoy today's new card!! I'm back to traditional colors : ) This bright happy Santa puts a big smile on my face : )

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas : )

Hope everyone didn't think I was buried in the snow, sorry I missed a couple days, life just gets buuuusssy!!! We had snow from Wednesday night till Friday afternoon, we got @ 3feet. I managed to get 2 snow days out of it : ) Our driveway never got plowed until Friday afternoon & my little car was completely buried, it looked like a mini-van was under the snow-lol. Life is now pretty much back to normal, we just push the snow aside & wait for more, typical Winter in Buffalo, NY!!! Mom & I did our second & last craft show for the year. We had fun & did pretty good w/our sales too. Now it's pretty much time to concentrate on Christmas shopping, wrapping presents & of course, mailing my Christmas cards-lol.

I hope you enjoy my new card today. I love traditional colors, but I'm pleased w/the way this card w/untraditional colors turned out.

SNOW DAY!!!

Oh, how nice is it to get a snow day from work!!! As of right now my driveway is unplowed, which means I'm STUCK & I've got the biggest smile on my face : ) I'm going to spend my day making cards, finish putting up Xmas decorations & some cleaning. Let me explain about my driveway....

these are pictures I took last night before bed. My little bistro table reminds me of a cupcake-lol. It's been snowing since 5pm yesterday & still is. I would say we got another 6 inches after I took these pictures. This is Wilson's first snow & it's a good one. He has to leap through the snow, funniest thing to watch-lol. My husband works for the town we live in & has been at work since 7am yesterday morning. He's out plowing- how lucky for the town- what about my driveway?? Needless to say I had some time for cards last night-yeah!! Hope you enjoy my new card.....................

Happy December 1st!!!!

I'm looking out window now & it looks like December 1st....it is snowing, pretty good too. We did have our first official snow fall this past Friday. I'm not a Black Friday shopper, so it did bother me a bit, actually it was perfect...I PUT UP OUR CHRISTMAS TREE!!!! I promise to take a picture, but everything's not done yet, it's a lengthy process : ) We had such a nice Thanksgiving holiday. My mom made an awesome Thanksgiving feast....I had left overs last night & it was even better then the first time. We eat soooo many appetizers before hand, not that I'm complaining-lol : ) We also had a 80th surprise party to attend for my Uncle, which was a good time & great food. They are Italian, so we had pasta & yummy meatballs, oh yeah & chicken. So it was a fun filled Holiday, hope everyone else's was too.

Now it's time to get shopping for Xmas presents & make lots of Xmas cards, which of course I've already been doing. The cards, not the shopping : ( I hope you enjoy my new card, as I look out my window it's perfect for the day.
