Bright Sunny Day

Holy cow is it a bright morning...I've got the sun shining right through the windows directly into my eyes- even hard to see what I'm typing.  Not complaining, just commenting..not used to having the sun in my eyes, it really is a beautiful morning, already 42 degrees..any & all snow we've acquired over the weekend will be gone by tonight.  I just can't believe what an easy winter we've had weather wise..oh, I hope the summer is just as good & HOT : ) 

Speaking of summer, I think my new card has a summer feel.............................

I've been on a boy kick lately too...I've noticed everything that catches my eye to work with is boyish...not a  bad thing, but my customer's tend to buy more feminine things, I think : )  Anyways...I've had the submarine sticker forever, couldn't even tell you the brand, I just know it was in scrapbooking travel kit- cute, huh??  All paper was scraps- I'm on a roll w/my scrap drawer : )


 Well time to get to working.  I'm off work tomorrow- off to see mom for the day- looking forward to spending some time w/her, it's been almost a month since I last saw her, that's a loong time for us : )  Enjoy your Tuesday & Wednesday & Thursday...I'll see you back here hopefully on Friday!! Hello Monday : )

Why does the weekend always go so fast???  We didn't have any plans for the weekend, which was a good thing...got some cards made : )  Plus it snowed a bit, so my honey got called into work Saturday & Sunday evening.   So, needless to say it was uneventful & relaxing weekend for me : )  Hope it was for you to.

I used some more old supplies on this card.  The blue pps are front & back of an old Graphic 45.  The red piece is from the scrap drawer.  My favorite lace from Wilson.

Hello : )

Yeah, Thursday!!!  It's been a bit of a week & my mojo hasn't been w/me as much as I would have liked : )  Ever just get lazy.....  Don't get me wrong I managed to make a card or two so far this week, but haven't accomplished as much as I would have liked to...typical life, huh?!!   Some days I spend more time looking through supplies, rather then using them....I'm searching for inspiration or something to jump out at me : ) 

Work hasn't been all bad this week either.  Here I feel like I've accomplished some things...write that down (oh, already did)...it doesn't happen often-lol.   Today being Thursday, I get the office to myself for a bit...oh heaven-lol!

Well better get to my new card & get to working,maybe accomplish some more-lol.

The bird image is from K & Company. The off white pp is Hobby Lobby..not sure of the other papers.  The lace is from mom.  The stamp is Hero Arts & the border punch is Martha Stewart.

Cupcake kinda day : )

It is soooo dark & gray outside this morning...when I got to work the motion light came on...dark morning!!!   It's kind of raining, but wants to snow...this would have been the perfect day to sleep in & then make cards....oh, my dream day : ) 

My new card reminds me of spring, it's the color palette.   All of my patterned paper came from the DCWV.  The chipboard cupcake is Martha Stewart, as was the border punch.

Happy Monday

What happened to the weekend....they go too darn fast!!!  We didn't have anything exciting on our plate for the weekend, just enjoying the time...and of course, making cards : )    The weather was pretty decent too, had a couple inches of snow overnight Friday, but yesterday's high was near 45,so that snow is going & right now it's raining....so the backyard ought to be a nice mud pit by tonight : ) 






I bet you all are going through "Hutton withdraw" .....check out this cutie....typical male...bottle in one hand, remote in the other.  Little Hutton is now 3months old : )

I was sooo thinking of Hutton when I was making this card.  I can't wait to make all sorts of cards for the little guy : )     I used alot of old patterned paper on this card...the stripe pp is from an old Target $1 section.  The stickers are Me & My Big Idea.  I dug in the scrap bin for the green & blue :)

Hello sunny Thursday

What a bright sunny morning, but boy is it cooooold..temp is 20 brrrrr.  I know this is probably a heat wave to some of you : )   They are calling for a couple inches of snow later today, just in time for the drive home : ) 

Need to get to posting my card today & get some work done.  I love Thursday mornings, as I get the office to myself for a bit & seem to accomplish so much more & the peace & quiet is appreciated-lol.

I need lots of b-day cards, so you most likely will be seeing more b-day cards : )   My wonderful friend Gale sent me a bunch of awesome die-cuts...dont' you love the orange?!  I never thought I was a big fan of orange, but I must be as I love to use it on cards.  Funny the things you realize about yourself through card making or alot of hobbies, for that matter : )  All of the pp on here is old & scraps.

Happy Hump Day- yup, half way to the weekend

I know I shouldn't wish my life away & really I don't....I just look forward to the weekend & want to share my anticipation w/all of you -lol.  Really work hasn't been that bad this week....could always be better, but so far so good, now I've probably went & shot myself in the foot on that & today will be a bear : )  When I left work this morning, it was a very very gray morning, but no snow...now I drive 5 miles North for work & it's like a blizzard, typical Buffalo weather...not complaining : ) 

My new card ought to brighten your day : )   My yellow pp is ooold BasicGrey, nook & Pantry.  Gingham is from Hobby Lobby.  New stamp from Studio G ( $1 section at Joann's).  I think my sticker is a Dollar Store find and I used the Cricut for my hearts, can't remember the cartridge name, I think Sweethearts or something like that.   My brain isn't quite ready for the day, better go get my Dr. Pepper.
