Hello world : )

Another bright sunny morning & warm to boot : )  They are calling for rain later tonight, but still warm -woohoo.  I'm going to have to be getting out my spring/summer clothes if this keeps up : )  They are calling for 70's this weekend & a day near 80 next week- oh, I'm sooooo excited- I love warm/hot weather.  Plus just seeing the sun seems to put everybody in a better mood.  I've got a dentist appointment tonight, so I"m trying not to let that ruin my day-yuk.  I have to admit I'm not a fan of the dentist at all....maybe if I would go like I'm suppose to I wouldn't have half the problems I do...my words of wisdom for the day : )

Gotta get to my new card, so I can get some work done : )   Don't you  just love the felt bunny- he's from my wonderful friend Marcy (she's a big bunny fan).  all the pps is from DCWV.  Used my grass punch by Martha Stewart- I would soooo recommend getting one of these.  I know the MS one is retired, but I believe Fiskars has one now & Recollection (Michaels' brand).   My stamp is a $1 Studio G.

Almost half way through the work week, that's gotta be a good thing : )  It's a bright sunny morning & the temp today is suppose to be near 60- love it!!!   Unfortunately when I got to work this morning the boss & another employee were already here-yuk...I look forward to my quiet moments when I get to work...needless to say, that is why I'm running late w/my post today : )

It is a gray, foggy morning here, but the temp is already 50 degrees.  It was pouring rain when I got up, but that has stopped, so now it's just gray : )  I'm really really not complaining, as I already mentioned it's 50 degrees here & it's March 13th, holy cow.  They are predicting temps in the 70's by the weekend, our usually high is @40 & that's pushing it.   I've got little flowers already peeking out : )


I promised you a smile this morning & if this doesn't do it, then you should go back to bed-lol.  check out my cute little nephew, Hutton.....doesn't he look like  a little man sitting in his chair all by himself!!!!  Look at the little smirk : )  Easter can't come soon enough...I so miss this little guy!!!!!

I used a bunch of Girl's Paperie embellies on this card.  My brown background pp is from Echo Park.  All the red pps are from My Mind's Eye.  Used my favorite border punch again & inked all the edges.  The stamp is Hero Arts.

woohoo- weekend almost here : )

yeah, we've made it to Friday!!!!!  This has been a kind of screwy week for me...my honey is working afternoon shifts, so when I get home he's just gotten to work  & when he gets home, I go to bed...I've been staying up late to see him, I think it's caught up w/me this morning : )  Hopefully me Dr. Pepper will do the trick.  We have another relaxing weekend ahead of us....I really  really need to concentrate on cards.  I've been very sloooow on my cards this week...need a boost of mojo : )   I had a friend ask me to make her a bunch of tags, so that will be on list this weekend too : ) 

Well time for a new card....

Half way through the work week : )

Happy Wednesday!!!!  It is a bright, beautiful, sunny day here, the temp is 51, holy crap can you believe that?!!  Beginning of March & it feels & looks like spring....I saw a robin this morning in my back yard.   The sunshine in the morning really helps to start the day off right, now lets hope it continues that way : )



This card turned out so much better in my head,but that happens sometimes : )  Stickers are DCWV (I think).  Darker blue pp is from Hobby Lobby.  My lace is vintage, found it at a co-op.  My favorite border punch, Fiskars & of course used the cricut too.

Happy Tuesday, gonna be another green one : )

Sorry I missed posting yesterday...remember I was off work on Friday........well, I paid the price for it yesterday-yuk!!  My desk was stacked w/problems, still is, but at least some of them are gone.  I had a very very enjoyable weekend.  Made a couple cards on Friday & did a bunch of cleaning, heck I even got out my Easter decorations, it is only a month or so away : )    My mom came to visit this weekend also, it was nice to see her & spend sometime together, it seemed like forever since we last hung out : )  Anyways, we went to Les Miserables at our local theater....I have to admit I wasn't overly excited about going, but wow- it was a great show!!!  I would highly recommend it!!!

I think I'm 100% done w/my St. Pat's card.  I love the way this little card turned out...I like the brightness & the orange & green together.   The little leprechaun circle is actually a pin (from Dollar General) & I put it on w/removable "dots" so the recipient of the card can actually wear it : )  The little rectangle above it is a Sticko Irish flag sticker.  The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.  The bright green pp is an oooold piece of Bo Bunny.  The shamrock pp is from Joann's.  Got out the Cuttlebug, Nesties & Cricut on this one. Border punch is Martha Stewart &  the stamp is a Studio G ( $1 section at Joann's).

Happy Thursday

Ever just have one of those weeks, everyday you know you should just stay in bed......that has been my week-absolutely yucky!!!  I came into work this morning & a bomb went off on my desk & I left it 100% clean last night....that irks that heck out of me!!!  After that, I've decided today is my Friday!!!!!!!  Some days you just need a break & tomorrow's going to be it for me : )  Okay, that has considerably helped my mood- now I just have to get my Dr. Pepper & clean up my desk : )

I've got another St. Pat's card for you today....told you I'd  been working on them : )


My brain is sooo not working this morning, I can't remember if my sticker is Jolee's or Stickos  (sorry, if you need to know, leave me a message & I'll look it up when I get home).  The background paper w/the 4 leaf clovers is again from my Scrap-a-day calendar.  The other green pps are from scrap drawer, but I think the gingham is Hobby Lobby.  Stamp is from Studio G & I got out the cuttlebug & nesties too.
