I have such a busy week...sorry I had to neglect my blog, but it usually ends up on the bottom of my list. Work has been a bit crazy, my boss went out for surgery on Monday & won't be back till at least Monday : ( I thought this week would be somewhat slow w/the holiday, but people haven't been thinking "turkey"!! I'd like to get out of work early today, but have lots to do, so better get to it : )

TGIF!!!

Oh, soooo happy it's Friday!!!! Don't have any plans for the weekend, but of course to make cards, primarily Christmas cards. Probably should do a little house cleaning & laundry well I'm at it.. need to start getting ready to put on Xmas decorations & of course the "CHRISTMAS TREE"!!!! I love putting up the xmas tree, actually I love seeing all our xmas ornaments. They are like old friends-lol. We have alot of hand made or special ornaments on our tree. We have multi-colored lights & lots & lots of ornaments. Oh just thinking about it : ) Bad thought about the xmas tree this year-WILSON!!!! Oh I can't even imagine how this is going to work. Speaking of my little Wilson, he seems to be recovering just fine from his surgery. He's still not a fan of the "lamp shade"- can't say I blame him, he can't even itch his face w/that thing on. I keep telling him one week is over, almost. If you need a reminder of how pathetic he looks, scroll down to last post -lol : ) I must say you really can't even tell he had anything done, at least not by his demeanor. He's still a very very very determined puppy-lol (those that have met Wison, knoooooww what I mean)!!!

I'm working away on my Xmas cards. I can't believe how fast time has gone. Mom & I are doing 1 more craft show, which is Dec 6th, plus I have some people who want Christmas cards-yeah!! So, of course my new card is CHRISTMAS : )

Tuesday already, that means we've made it through another Monday : ) My poor little Wilson got neutered yesterday. I felt so bad yesterday morning having to take him to the vet, plus I think he thought he was going to work w/me. He grabbed his leash in his mouth w/his little tail wagging all excited to be going somewheres. It was just as bad picking him up too. He has to wear a lamp shade for 2weeks!!! He just looks so sad & pathetic. staring up at me w/those big brown eyes through the lamp shade. You tell me, isn't this the most pathetic little thing????

You should see him, his little head bounces off everything. I keep thinking how loud it must sound to him- my poor little Wilson. As you can see by this picture, we've "caved" and allow him on the bed. Can't say I blame him, it really is comfy : )

My new card today is for my Sweet Little Wilson. I think he's feeling a bit "blue" today too -lol!!

Oh yeah, it's Friday!!! The sun is out, it's suppose to be another beautiful day here & IT'S FRIDAY!! I have a pretty relaxing weekend coming up. My husband is working tomorrow, so it's just me & Wilson & my scrapping table. On Sunday, I'm off to visit mom. We are going to work on Xmas tags for our upcoming craft show, Dec. 6th. This is Oscar (my mom's dog)...check out his new "comfy" spot. Look at that little face, just too CUTE. Oscar joined our family in July & he fits right in. Plus he puts up w/my little Wilson- a chore in itself : ) Shame on me for not having a new pic of Wilson, most of the time he won't sit still long enough right now. My poor little Wilson is going to be neutered on Monday. I hate the thought of him having surgery & then having to wear that "lampshade" like thing.

Happy Thursday : )

It's a very bright, sunny morning & suppose to be in the 60's today...can't wait!! As of now it's 34, a long way off : ) I've got another busy day ahead of me at work. There just aren't enough hours in the day & I don't want to give them any more either!! I really shouldn't complain, I'm usually out of work @3pm. My hours are pretty good, but I pay the price by having to fit it all in-yuk!! It's going to be a good day : ) I'm still working on my Thanksgiving cards. I only have 1 more to finish up. I had planned on having that one finished last night also, but then Survivor was on....need I say more. I'm so glad ***** is gone- I'm not putting a name just in case some people haven't watched it yet. Once again today's new card (drum roll) Thanksgiving -lol...............

Still working on Thanksgiving

I need 10 Thanksgiving cards by Friday..I've got 7 done as of now & I want to work on something else, actually any other type of card will do. I just get kind of bored w/using the same type of colors ....I'm ready for pink & purple-lol. I think tonight I might have to mix it up a bit. My yesterday at work was CRAZY & I just know today is going to be the same way-yuk!! Though my day did go fast. Seems like my nights do too, especially since it gets dark so much earlier now. Well unfortunately I really need to get started on work, can barely see my desk : (

Why are weekends only 2 days??

I wish weekends were a little bit longer...wouldn't that be nice to have an extra day-lol. I had a fun weekend w/mom : ) We had our craft show on Saturday...I would say we did pretty good w/our sales. Better then last year. Our "hot" sellers were the Xmas tags & little gifts boxes, thanks Mom & Susanna for helping to make those : ) I didn't have a lot of Thanksgiving cards w/me but sold most of those too. Now I'm making more, need 6 more done by Friday. The rest of the weekend we kind of relaxed & of course, ate. It was a very enjoyable weekend!! Well of course, my new card today is Thanksgiving.....

Survivor night-yeah : )

Oh yeah, it's already Wednesday!! As you can tell the highlight of my day is Survivor tonight : ) Now just got to get through the work day-yuk!! I was busy making cards last night, oh what fun & watching some of the political results-yuk to that too -lol. If only Glee hadn't been a repeat. Can you believe it my husband really really likes Glee- if you knew my husband, "the man's man"?? It is a bright sunny morning, but very very chilly here. I had to start my car up this morning, thank goodness for "car starters". I'm 100% certain I will never buy a car again w/out one. We do have a 2 car attached garage, but I don't think I've ever parked in it-lol. It wasn't until I moved to Buffalo that I saw people using their garage so much, more like a "summer room". Growing up we always used ours to park in, go figure-lol. Well anyways, I think my new card fits this bright sunny morning, enjoy : )

Brrrr..

Holy cow is it cooold out this morning, it's 29 degrees, brrr. Sign of things to come I guess. Hard to believe we are less then a month away from Thanksgiving, which means less then 2 months from Christmas. Holy cow-lol! I spent ALL of this past weekend, making cards ...oh & it was soooo enjoyable!! I made the biggest mess w/all my papers & goodies. Sometimes I think it's as much fun to look at my goodies as I do to use them-lol. I hope there are others out there like me-lol. I even worked on some Xmas ornaments, though I haven't taken any pics yet, but I will. We have our craft show this coming weekend..yeah! I'm really looking forward to it : ) I think my new card is very very "fallish" which is PERFECT for today : ) Enjoy......
